The Back Doctor
Dr. Ouellette has been a chiropractic clinician since 1973. Postgraduate studies in
acupuncture, biology, nutrition, and sports injuries positioned him to make certain observations with regard to
pain. His multi faceted background lead to a series of tools to evaluate and treat people in pain and people
looking for optimal health. Some three and a half decades in the clinical field helped Dr. Ouellette draft
certain principles. Science corroborates these principles and reinforces the approach for a pain relief
lifestyle. We cannot stop the aging process, (yet), but we can help out a lot when people are in need,
particularly when they are in crisis and need fast relief, faster than medical textbooks say we should heal. We
are dedicated to teaching optimal health secrets and the pain relief lifestyle. Expert in the conservative
treatment of conditions related to the spine and extremities. Dr. Ouellette has been involved with several pain
relief services over the last three and a half decades, helping people manage pain and improve their
lifestyles.
Trusted and Reputable Chiropractic Care
Dr. Ouellette uses Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT) given by hand,
in his treatments. The main treatments of chiropractic care are neck adjustments, mid back
adjustments and lower back adjustments by hand to correct problem areas. These are the types of
treatments used in numerous Peer-Reviewed published research papers showing the effectiveness
and safety of chiropractic care.
Experienced
Dr. Ouellette has been a health care clinician for more than three and a half decades
delivering care that covers many methods, procedures, and techniques.

Fast Healing
Knowledge on Nutrition, Exercise, Acupuncture, Lasers and sports
injuries, allows the integration of Ancient Techniques with those more modern, for fast relief
and healing. This allows a reduced frequency of treatments in the treatment plans from the
typical medical/physiotherapy model for a wide variety of conditions.
Dr. Ouellette does a few things differently than the average
chiropractor. Dr. Ouellette treats his patients using traditional spinal manipulative therapy
delivered to the patient using the doctor's bare hands. He usually treats each of the three
areas of the spine on every visit depending on what condition the patient presents with. This
means, if a patient asks for care to treat a neck condition, Dr. Ouellette will adjust the
neck, the middle back, and the lower back, on the same visit. An adjustment is a
manipulation by the doctor's hands, to achieve a cavitation sound or popping sound. This is the
traditional work that chiropractors do on the hard, bony tissues of the body.
Dr. Ouellette may elect to use five additional treatments as helper
methods to achieve maximum pain relief as quickly as possible. The patient may receive all five
of these additional therapies on the same visit or only a few of them. These therapies are used
for the difficult to treat conditions that require a more comprehensive approach than spinal
manipulation alone.
Cold LASER,
Painless types of both visible laser and the invisible Infrared Laser.
TENS, (transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation)
A specific form of safe electrical current passed through the skin of the patient.
Deep Fibre Therapy,
Deeper pressure with the doctor's fingers into the softer tissues surrounding the spine.
Hand TENS,
A unique type of treatment combining deep fibre therapy with TENS, that connects the doctor to
the current path at the same time as the patient.
Nutritional Counselling,
Recommendations on both, the Pain Relief Diet, and nutritional supplements known to have some
effect on reducing pain and inflammation.
